Research Interests:
The study of skeletal muscle physiology and physical activity with a focus
on aging.
Predictors of functional status decline, body composition, and the effects
of resistance training.
Teaching Areas: Exercise Physiology, EKG Interpretation,
Instrumentation
in Exercise

Activity and Aging
Hobbies:
I enjoy downhill skiing, running, swimming, resistance training, hiking,
and just about anything that is outdoors and active. In addition, I enjoy
sitting on the beach and reading a good book.
